What we do

We work with the community to improve literacy levels in children from infancy. Our specially designed early childhood initiatives help families to engage and read with their children as early as possible so they can reach their full learning potential. Our initiatives include:
  • Book Gifting
  • Building Home Libraries
  • Featured Stories
  • Read to Me
  • Mentoring Emerging Artists

Professional Learning

We provide professional learning through a series of learning modules and workshops which integrate literacy rich practices in the home, schools and community services. Our professional learning modules and workshops incorporate evidence-based research and effective hands-on methods. Areas of learning include:

  • Building Foundations for Early Learning
  • Inclusive Literacy Practices
  • Developing Oral Language
  • Language Development through STEM
  • Victorian School Readiness
