If you would like to support the work of Raising Literacy Australia there are a number of ways you can help. We are a registered charity and able to accept tax deductible donations into our Public Fund and through GiveNow, cheque or direct deposit. We also have a yearly volunteering event helping to pack reading bags and would love to hear from you if you live in SA. You can even host a book swap fundraising event, it’s fun, easy and a great chance to chat with friends about your favourite books while raising money to support literacy development in the community.
Make a Donation
With your support, we can use the power of stories and reading to give children the best start in life and provide books to families who need them. All gifts over $2.00 to the Raising Literacy Australia Public Fund are tax deductible and will make a difference to Australian children and families.

Become a Volunteer
Each year in November the Little Big Book Club packs and distributes 65,000 reading packs to families in SA that have a baby, toddler and preschooler. We do this with the help of a 400+ volunteer workforce who come together for a week of hard work plus lots of fun! We are now taking expressions of interest from anyone living in SA that would like to help us pack books and resources during November 2019.

Leave a Bequest
Raising Literacy Australia is committed to a future where young children are read to every day and given the best possible chance to realise their full potential. A bequest, no matter how great or small, will support the next generation of children in their path to social inclusion and lifelong learning and ensure that RLA has the ongoing capacity to run early literacy programs in the community.
Make literacy your legacy. If you are thinking about leaving a bequest, it is important to talk about it with your family and seek some legal advice from your lawyer/solicitor. To find out more, please download a copy of our Bequest Program brochure or contact Nicole Marshall for a confidential discussion on (08) 8331 3095.
