First Nations Leadership Group
At Raising Literacy Australia, we strive to deliver programs that are effective, relevant and culturally appropriate. To achieve our guiding mission, our work must include and benefit all children and communities.
Our First Nations Leadership Group has been established to ensure a culturally safe and aware process of program development, which values the consultation and guidance of expert individuals with lived experience.
Greater visibility of Indigenous people and culture outside of significant events is important for First Nations people, and also supports cultural awareness and understanding in non-Indigenous individuals.
