SA Preschool Boost Developing Oral Language
SADOL
Developing Oral Language provides evidence-based, practical strategies for supporting the development of young children’s receptive and expressive language skills. This program is designed to help you upskill in creating language rich interactions and experiences, while also offering guidance on engaging families to embed daily literacy practices at home.
Introduction:
This program is delivered as a 2.5-hour online workshop, and it also includes:
- 1 Big Book for your service, as well as a toolkit containing 3 finger puppets and 3 picture books (including Little Book Press titles) to enhance your learning and implementation. These resources are seamlessly integrated into the workshop delivery, equipping you with tools to incorporate into your planning and curriculum, while also offering valuable assets to share with families after the session.

- A copy of the slide deck,
- A 12-month membership to the online learning group forum. This platform provides access to expert trainers from Raising Literacy Australia, who will share inquiry prompts, research insights, and practical strategies.
