Building Home Libraries

Building Home Libraries Program is an early years multilayered literacy program. It aims to build 3 year old and 4 year old children’s learning capacity, oral language and literacy development. The Building Home Libraries program provides pre-schools and kindergartens with quality picture books, craft resources and tip sheets which they give to the families they work closely with.

Educators receive professional learning on ways to share literacy messages with parents/carers and techniques for role modelling with families and guide them to use the books and resources to support rich home learning.
